Privacy Policy
This notice explains how JUNGKUM FASTENER INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. ("the Company") collects, uses, retains and protects personal data, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea.
1. Purpose of Processing
- Membership — verifying the applicant, reviewing and approving accounts, controlling access to drawings, preventing misuse, sending notices.
- Quotation and sample requests — reviewing the enquiry, replying with a quotation, consultation and contract performance.
- Access management — recording which technical documents were viewed or downloaded, in order to prevent misuse.

We do not store location data. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash — the Company cannot recover the original.
3. Retention Periods

4. Disclosure to Third Parties
The Company does not provide personal data to third parties, except where the individual has given prior consent, or where disclosure is required by law or lawfully requested by an investigative authority.
5. Processing Entrusted to Others
Server and database hosting is entrusted to Gabia, Inc.. The contract sets out safeguards, restrictions on further delegation and liability, and compliance is supervised.
6. Destruction of Personal Data
Personal data is destroyed without delay once the retention period expires or the purpose has been achieved. Electronic files are permanently deleted by means that prevent recovery; paper documents are shredded or incinerated.
7. Your Rights
You may at any time request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal data by contacting help@jungkum.com or +82-32-821-4910. We will act on the request and inform you of the outcome within 10 days. Signed-in members can review their own sign-in and document access history at My Account.
8. Security Measures
- Passwords stored as a one-way hash
- SSL (HTTPS) encryption for pages that transmit personal data
- Access rights limited to a minimum number of designated staff
- Retention of administrator and document-access logs for misuse review
- Temporary lockout after repeated failed sign-in attempts
9. Cookies
In addition to the cookie that keeps you signed in, we use Google Analytics 4 cookies to measure site traffic. These collect usage information such as entry paths and pages viewed and are never used for advertising; Google Signals and all data-sharing settings are disabled.
Transfer of personal data overseas
The following data is transferred abroad for that analysis (Article 28-8, Personal Information Protection Act).

You may refuse cookies in your browser settings, but you will then be unable to use services that require signing in.

11. Remedies
You may contact the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (kopico.go.kr, +82-1833-6972) or the Privacy Infringement Report Centre (privacy.kisa.or.kr, 118).
12. Changes
This notice takes effect on 16 September 2026 (first issued 20 August 2026). What changed: Article 9 (Cookies) — introduction of Google Analytics 4 and notice of the resulting overseas transfer. Changes will be announced at least 7 days before they take effect.
